ABOUT
The Council for Exceptional Children is a national organization with professional and student chapters across the country.
SUNY Geneseo CEC is open to all majors who are invested in the success of all children. If you like volunteering with children, attending education presentations, and writing pen pal letters to elementary school students, this is the club for you!
CEC usually meets every other week. The day/time of these meetings changes every semester based on class schedules, so email our account for more information!
We have many leadership roles in our club. Our E-board positions are: President, Vice President/The Exceptional Coordinator, Treasurer, Pen Pal Coordinator, Conference Chairs, Special Olympics Coordinator, Mentoring/Tutoring Coordinator, Publicity, and Student Association representative. Our faculty advisor is Dr. Salmon.
